  • What should my credit score be to qualify for the Rent To Own Credit program?
    To qualify, you need a minimum credit score of 620 (Transunion FICO 8) to be eligible for the Rent To Own Program. If you are unsure or believe your Transunion Fico is below 620 you should check your credit score on www.experian.com Steps Go to www.experian.com Choose the free trail option to review all 3 credit bureaus Review the Transunion Score only. Must be 580 and above to qualify for Rent To Own. *Note: If it is below you can enroll in credit repair consultations for a one time fee.
  • Does it cost me to get approved or join the Rent To Own Program?
    There is no cost per se to join the The Rent To Own Homes Program. The application fee is $75 per household. The Program is specifically designed to help you qualify for a mortgage down the line. Or just rent the home with no penalties if you do not purchase it.
  • How do I apply for the Rent To Own Homes Program?

    Collections accounts are okay. The main factor in the equation to qualify for the Rent To Own Program. -620 Transunion Fico Score -$40,000 a year minimum hosehold income -No evictions in the last 3 years. Account must be settled. Do not be discouraged to ask questions in client portal.

    The Rent To Own Program plan differs in a few different ways, but are similiar in some. The most noticable way this particular plan differs is credit score requirements. Under the Rent To Own Homes program you can get into the home you would like to purchase with a credit score as low as 620. This gives you up to 5 years to purchase the home using a FHA or Conventional loan. Whereas the traditional route with an FHA or Conventional loan, you need a near perfect credit file. Though some of the underlying standards are the same for the program and regular course.     For Rent To Own Program and Mortgage Financing. The time frame varies, but 30 - 40 days after finding home and moving in on average.
